Opie is one of the three littermates we kept from our Levi x Kitty litter.In their two seasons of racing they have exceeded our expectations of them, finishing #1 in 2000 and #3 in 2001in the National pointscore, with some fantastic race wins and placings along the way. Opie runs lead on Mitch's team along with her sister Angel, they are both very similar and some people have trouble telling them apart!

A gentle, intelligent, willing girl, Opie inherited her wonderful temperament from her dam, Kitty. She is definately the brains behind the team, with the conformation to excel. Opie was judged Best in the bitches 3 - 12 months class (26 entries) and Reserve best bitch (total match entries 104) by Susan Gilchrist (Lokiboden Kennel, Canada) at the SHCNSW Sled Dog Match held at their race in 1999.
